Meet David

David S. MacMillan III, also known as D3 or “standonbible”, started blogging in the spring of 2005. His blog, then simply titled “D3’s Blog”, quickly evolved into a dynamic online journal with a myriad of articles concerning current events, apologetics, evangelism, science, and much more. The title, “In Rejection of Mediocrity”, examplifies his desire to forsake everything commonplace in a quest to follow after God.

Seventeen-year-old David lives in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States and enjoys reading, writing, playing Ultimate Frisbee and, most importantly, sharing the truth of God’s Holy Law and awesome mercy. The one thing that he enjoys the most is The Way of the Master, a powerful ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel the way Jesus did - hence the name. The method used by this ministry and by David can be summed up as follows: “Law to the proud, Grace to the humble.” See Way of the Master Radio for additional details.

David’s family is adopting four children from Liberia, West Africa. Liberia is known as a “fourth world” country; it used to be relatively modern but after fifteen years of bloody civil war the entire country has been essentially destroyed. David’s siblings live in two orphanages operated by the African Christians Fellowship International outside of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. His family is praying that their new children will be able to come home by the end of the year, but they should be able to come by January. The adoption is being done through Children Concerned.

David is a homeschooled senior in highschool and is currently taking several college courses for dual credit along with high school courses. Last year, he got his associate’s degree as a paralegal through OakBrook College of Law and Government Policy, a correspondence school in Fresno, California. He is also employed as a part-time paralegal and legal secretary in a local law firm.

To contact David, you can leave a comment on this website. He will receive it via email.
